Karrin Kunasek Taylor, Vice President at DMB Associates, a Scottsdale-based real estate development company, will discuss economic development efforts being pursued by DMB. The business climate and specifically, the real estate market over the better part of the last fifteen years has allowed us to focus almost exclusively on the orderly delivery of real estate to the market, whose appetite for more seemed insatiable. Rather than sit it out and wait for the economy to rebound, business leaders in Arizona need to seek opportunities to attract business to Arizona. DMB is doing just that. Arizona can and should be the location of choice for employers, employment related uses and a highly trained and well paid workforce. Ms. Taylor will briefly discuss what makes the Arizona economy run and then talk about specific efforts to develop the Arizona Aerospace Institute in order to leverage the tremendous the existing resources Arizona has in the aerospace sector.
